Project Management | Why Project Managers Shouldn't Wear Man BunsPMI’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® is a valuable entry-level certification for project practitioners who are not yet ready for the PMP certification. Designed for those with little or no project experience, the CAPM® demonstrates your understanding of the fundamental knowledge, terminology and processes of effective project management.

This CAPM® Exam certification training course will prepare you for the certification exam by reviewing the 6th Edition of the PMBOK® Guide in full details, including the 5 process groups, 10 knowledge areas and each and every one of the 47 processes. The course will focus on the inputs, tools and techniques and outputs of each of the processes as these are the areas that the exam focuses on. (see Course Format below).

All students will be supplied with customized course materials and a course workshop that will help in preparing for the exam. This workshop includes exercises and lots of sample questions that will build your confidence and raise your chances of passing the CAPM® Exam on your first attempt.

Course Objectives

The CAPM Training Course will:

Course Format

The CAPM® training course in Boston, MA, USA is presented as PowerPoint presentations via Zoom or MS Teams which is explained by the instructor while keeping students engaged. Illustrations, whiteboards, and other tools will be used to demonstrate the key points.  Students will also be given quizzes at each training section to solidify their knowledge, as well as additional practice questions to take home and prepare for the PMI-Certified Associate in Project Management CAPM® exam.

Certificate of Completion

This course offers 24 PMI approved PDUs, which will fully satisfy PMI’s CAPM exam requirements. The PDUs can also be used towards the 35 hours needed for applying and sitting for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam. However, the attendee would need to obtain an additional 11 hours of training if they want to sit for the next level PMP exam.
